Risk Reminder: Protect Yourself from HTX Staff Impersonation Scams Online and Over the Phone

Dear HTX Users,

Due to the recent surge in interest in digital assets, we have observed a corresponding increase in fraudulent activity. Specifically, we have received reports of fraudsters impersonating HTX staff to deceive our users. These scams targeting HTX users involve fraudsters who impersonate HTX support or account managers to initiate contact via phone and WeChat, subsequently luring them into fabricated communities with false promises of livestream trading profits or requesting they transfer assets to unsafe addresses. Additionally, fraudsters are also falsely claiming user involvement in legal investigations to demand security checks and account unfreezing. This manipulation exploits user fear, enabling them to steal user account information or induce users to complete withdrawals or transfers for their own gain.

HTX hereby clarifies: HTX Learn is our sole official user education platform and does not offer investment advice. All official community information and access are available exclusively on the HTX website. Meanwhile, we do not operate any so-called "teacher-led trading" or "expert recommendation" communities. Any contact claiming to represent HTX for investment purposes is fraudulent. HTX prioritizes user privacy and will never share user data with third parties or request passwords, SMS codes, or Google Authentication (GA) verification codes.

Please remain vigilant against false promotions and carefully scrutinize fraudulent sales pitches. Rely solely on official announcements for all HTX-related events and community information to prevent any unnecessary asset loss. HTX has now launched the Official Verification Inquiry feature to help users identify fraudulent activities.
